Mission Partners

The strategic objectives of WENSA centre around one key theme – COLLABORATION. This is evident in our vision statement namely “The whole SA church…” reflecting our desire for the whole SA church working towards a common purpose “…in the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Eph 4:3).

This same desire is expressed in the Lausanne Covenant (1974) which affirms
“…the development of regional and functional cooperation for the furtherance of the
Church's mission, for strategic planning, for mutual encouragement, and for the sharing of resources and experience” and once again echoed in the Cape Town 2010 Commitment, “A divided Church has no message for a divided world. Our failure to live in reconciled unity is a major obstacle to authenticity and effectiveness in mission.”

WENSA recognises the invaluable work accomplished through missions networks, national missions agencies and organisations, national denominations, local churches and ministries across the country. We regard all these as key partners working together in unity and purpose for the sake of the gospel.
